Steve Spon of UK Decay, still active musically, helped curate the event and appeared onstage with Roshi Nasehi to lead the audience in singing along the Bob Dylan-esque acoustic anthem “Break Down The Walls”.

In 1986 local alternative musicians came together to produce ‘Dump it on Parliament: Luton Compilation,’ as a protest against a proposed nuclear waste dump in Bedfordshire.

In 2015 we revisited this with the current generation of local bands who created covers of the original tracks and new songs of protest.
